Jenna's Play Things at 7 Months

Jenna loves having her giraffe (Sophie) around. This is the one toy I save until she gets really fussy. For some reason this rubber toy does it for her.

Her daddy is also one of her favorites. He's a wild ride. He spins her around, turns her upside down and carries her on his shoulders. I just love seeing her laugh when she's playing with her daddy.

This is one of her faves too. It keeps her busy for a while.

July was hot hot hot. We took a dip in the spa with Jenna for the first time. She absolutely enjoyed it. She kept splashing the water and didn't mind getting water on her face. I have a feeling she's going to grow up to be a fish.

Balls, balls, balls.

Jenna's learning how to use a sippy cup. It's pretty funny watching her use it. She's just not sure how to position herself to get a drink of water.

First 4th of July

We spent the 4th of July weekend with cousins Brent (10), Carson (9), TJ (5) and Alexa (2) in Balboa Island. It was a hot hot weekend. The kids weren't bothered by it; they spent most of the day playing outside, including Jenna.

Papa and Jenna sitting on the porch enjoying the cool ocean breeze.

Mommy and Jenna hanging out at the beach watching the boat parade.

Angel Game

Fun did not end at the beach. We were just getting started. We had tickets to the Angel game. It was a great game, Orioles lost to the Angels 11-4.

Jenna was good the entire game. She managed to entertain herself and everyone around us with her cuteness.

We ran into another little Angel fan, Evan and his dad Vic. I carry Jenna on this sling almost everywhere I go. She loves being in it and I love having her this close to me.

Jenna: "After the game, daddy ran to the very front of the stadium and waited for the umpires to exit. Not sure why, I don't really know what's going on."

Jenna: "I get it...I got a game ball!"

It was such a long long 4th of July, but it was all very special. We wrapped up our day watching a spectacular fireworks show. Jenna wasn't sure what to make of the fireworks in the beginning, but I can tell she was enjoying it...she couldn't take her eyes off the sky.

6 Month Pictures

Time sure does fly. Jenna at 6 months is finally enjoying her toys. She is such a happy baby...as long as she's not hungry.

My happy baby loves to watch me cook. She loves eating the foods I make for her. She especially loves roasted sweet potato, apples and bananas.

Jenna has a funny personality. She loves making this face. She'll make the face and if she sees you laughing, she'll keep on doing it. She even cracks herself up.

She's not always happy.

We had a nice first father's day for daddy. We just took it easy at home and slept in.

Sexy...

5 Month Pictures

Jenna's first trip to the beach on Memorial Day in Corona del Mar.

First Bites.

Jenna experienced rice cereal for the first time and boy does she love it! She likes to grab the bowl, and I have to be careful or else it could be a big mess. It took a little while for her to get the hang of swallowing, but as soon she figured it out, we couldn't get it in her mouth fast enough. Jenna would bend over and suck on the tray to get some of the spilled rice cereal. Wish we got a shot of it.

"This isn't mama's milk, blach!"

"Dude, dad stop doing the airplane and give it to me."

"That's it? I thought this was all you can eat."

Bath Time Is Always Fun!

As soon as she gets in her tub, I make it rain. I sing "Rain Rain Go Away" as I pour water over her tub. She loves it.

Jenna's favorite toy...her fingers.

It's never too early to start reading.

Jenna is growing up so fast. She is looking less like a baby and more like a little girl.

Jenna's First Angel Game

It was nice day at the Big A. Jenna's parents (especially her father!!) are Angel fans. She's going to grow up watching baseball. April 26 was a big day for us. It was Jenna's first baseball game. Angels won that day against the Mariners (8-0).

We didn't get to the game until the 4th inning. We were in no rush to get there on time. We didn't think she could last the entire game anyway. Jenna didn't enjoy being at the seats too much. I spent most innings walking around her the Diamond Club Restaurant.

Jenna's parents are definitely more excited about her going to the game.
Jenna: " Are you blind blue!"

I am obsessed with her cankles.

4 Month Pictures

Jenna's getting cuter and cuter :) She has good head control (see her posing for a picture on her Bimbo above). She's weighs 12 lbs 4 oz. She's starting to enjoy and figure out her toys now. She enjoys sitting in her jumperoo and play mat, especially in the mornings. She's starting to grab her toys and keeps it in her hand for a few seconds. She still hates tummy time, but we're persisting.

Happy Easter!!!We spent Easter at the park with a couple of friends from out of town (Steve from Cincinnati and Mike from Princeton). The guys played bocce and drank beers. Jenna and I laid under a tree. She loves looking up at the trees. She was enjoying herself so much she'd laugh.

We made our way back home after the park for Easter dinner. Tita TinTin took care of the whole thing for us while we were out at the park :)

I had to post this picture of Jenna and Mike. This is one of my favorite look from Jenna. She gives us the "O face" just before she lets out a big cry.

First Trip to Fresno!!

We went on a road trip to Fresno to celebrate Brent's 10th birthday and Carson's first communion.

Cousin Alexa was such a cutie. She was really curious about Jenna. She couldn't get her hands off Jenna. I think she thinks Jenna is a doll.

Jenna rarely drinks from a bottle, but she acts like a pro every time.

Jenna doesn't have a lot of hair (yet).
